What does BETA mean?
BETA is essentially a version of the website that is not 100% feature complete. We are opening up the site early so that people can provide valuable feedback relative to operational and customer experience aspects of the site. During this period please send us all the feedback you can. After all, this site is for you!
How long will the BETA period last?
The BETA period will end June 1, 2008. This is when we will officially launch the full featured Storybook Anytime. Until that time, access to the full library is free and those who are participating will have the opportunity to get paid subscriptions at a substantial discount in June.
Are your stories available elsewhere, like in stores or on other websites?
No. Storybook Anytime stories are currently only available online and in our partner preschools, libraries and elementary schools. If you are interested in recommending your school or library, see our
teachers and schools section.
What do I get with a free membership?
Free members (subscribers) are able to access our weekly free story. The story is a different story each week and is pulled at random from our full library.
Can I purchase Storybook Anytime gift subscriptions?
Yes! Storybook Anytime gift subscriptions will be available for purchase starting in June 2008 when we officially launch. They are not available during our BETA period.
I lost my password, what do I do?
You can reset lost passwords by

Make sure you use the email address that is associated with your account. A new password will be generated and emailed to that address.
How do I cancel my membership?
Cancellation of membership refers only to monthly, six month and annual subscriptions that are purchased using a credit card. These subscriptions automatically recur so that your service is not interrupted.
If you wish to cancel a subscription, please visit the "
Manage Account" area within the
Membership page. From here you can modify your current account to a free subscription effectively canceling any further billing of your credit card. You will still be able to access the full Storybook Anytime library until the next billing cycle.
How do I change the email address associated with my account?
Please visit the "
Manage Account" area within the
Membership page. From here you can modify account information including your email address.
Do you offer refunds for subscriptions?
Once your credit card has been charged for Storybook Anytime, your subscriptions are non-refundable.
How do I change my payment information?
We will be implementing a credit card change option in the "Manage Account" section in June 2008. That is when we will officially launch and accept credit card payments.
I have not received my activation email, what do I do?
You can have your activation code automatically sent to you by
clicking here.
Make sure that emails from
support@storybookanytime.com are not blocked by your SPAM filter or email provider. There are occasions where some email providers or programs automatically put our emails into your "junk" or "bulk" folders. Please check there if you do not see the email in your Inbox.
