Why Storybook Anytime?

Storybook Anytime is a family owned company with 15 years of internet business experience and 42 years of combined broadcast and animation experience. A large number of our stories have been written and illustrated by parents and grandparents. You will not find these stories or characters anywhere else in the world as they were written expressly for the enjoyment of Storybook Anytime subscribers.

Entertaining and educational for ages 3-9

Storybook Anytime will help your child develop a life-long relationship with reading. Our main goal is to provide a safe, interactive environment for young children, ages 3-9, where they can learn to appreciate the simple pleasures of reading, and at the same time learn to be a part of the new world of technology. You will find our stories to be diverse and fun, while quite often bringing home a little lesson or two on growing up and getting along in the world.

Child safe, free of advertisements and easy to use

Storybook Anytime is presented in a safe, ad-free environment through a very simple and child-friendly interface. Once you log in, you are presented with our extraordinarily simple library browser. Children can click on the arrows in the tree and watch the library of stories roll by on the rope (they will love this feature alone). When they see one that interests them, they click on the book cover and then they will see a short synopsis at the bottom of the page that tells about the story. When they are ready to read, just click the "read now" button and they are presented with our digital reader. When the reader opens, children can allow the narrator to read the story to them or select to turn the audio off and read it themselves.

A free story each week and in multiple languages

Storybook Anytime is currently available in both English and Spanish, with plans to expand the number of languages as we grow. This not only supports a larger global community, but also gives you the opportunity to expose your child to other languages as well. There are various levels of membership options available including a free subscription. Free members will have access to one story each week that is randomly selected from our library. Although we would like for you to join us with a paid subscription, it is not required. We encourage this because it is your paid subscriptions that allow us to make this wonderful, bi-lingual library, available to preschools, libraries and elementary schools for free, and it also keeps your child's online experience free of all advertisements.
