Child Safety

Storybook Anytime was created by parents. Our first and most important directive is to provide a safe place for children who are just beginning to use the computer and explore the Internet and to be able to learn and enjoy themselves without the danger of unwelcome advertisements, pop-ups, viruses, or other unsavory pitfalls.

Once inside Sam's Interactive Reader, there is no danger of your child inadvertently clicking on a button that might take him/her to some other site. Most of our stories were written and illustrated by parents or grandparents with a strong desire to create a safe, educational site for young children. It gives your child a great sense of accomplishment to be able to sit down at a computer like Mommy or Daddy and do their "own thing." Storybook Anytime not only provides that safe environment, but is also educational and entertaining at the same time.

Storybook Anytime has been granted the "Safe Surf" PICS rating of content to give you further peace of mind. Along with the "Safe Surf" seal, we have also been granted ICCS website certification by the iWatchDog Program. These online certifications have been developed specifically for websites that adhere to the best practices in child safety operations. We also encourage our parents and teachers to visit sites such as GetNetWise.org to learn more about protecting our children on the Internet.

We do not share any information gathered from your registration with any other person, company, or entity outside of Storybook Anytime. The information you give us is strictly for use by Storybook Anytime in product development and in providing customer satisfaction.
