Sam's Room

Sam's room is the home base for all of your Storybook Anytime activities. His room is a virtual library that contains stories and activities that you have downloaded. If you click on the bookshelves you can access your personal story library, while clicking on the art table will take you to all of your games and activities. Remember, you get a free story and activity when you download the application.

Kid Mode

Kid Mode is a feature that we created with the youngest readers in mind. It will remove the header menu and footer system so that children can easily focus on Sam's Interactive Reader stories and activities without accidentally mis-clicking to another section of the application. This mode can be toggled on and off by using the keyboard commands CTRL+K (Windows) or CMD+K (Mac).

Interactive Reader & Activities

The easy-to-use interface allows your children to instantly access their own library of stories, while simultaneously allowing you to shop for more stories in our online bookstore. Each story is presented with optional audio narration and concludes with a short set of comprehension questions. This feature helps foster those basic comprehension skills that are so important to children at this age.

We work closely with schools and teachers to insure that our activities and questions are not only entertaining and fun, but also support important educational curriculum as well.

Online Store

Shopping at our online store is a breeze. Free and "I Own It" items can always be downloaded instantly and without debit to your credit card or gift card. You can search the library by author, story title, subject matter or language preference, to find the stories that are right for your child.

School Rewards Programs

We are proud to say that the revenue from our online store sales, generate the financial resources to allow distribution of the entire library to pre-schools, grade schools and public libraries— free of charge and with absolutely no advertisements. So by using and promoting the use of Storybook Anytime at home, you can help us provide this fully immersive educational and entertaining experience to classrooms everywhere!

The best part is the ability to have your school join our school rewards program. This allows your school to benefit while you use the software. If your school is not involved in our rewards program, click here to find out more information on how to get them started now.

Account Setup & Security

Creating a Storybook Anytime account requires a valid credit card. This is to insure that someone over 18 is authorizing money transactions (COPPA requirement). However, an account is not required to download free items. Your credit card data is securely stored and we do not share ANY of our account information with third party companies. All purchases and account detail edits require that a valid account username and password be given to authorize the transaction. This insures that even without Kid Mode enabled, that you the parent, will always control account information and purchasing.
